The perfect ending to a rodeo is a Chris Janson concert. He came out of the chute with such energy and spunk you couldn't help but fall in loive with him. Sporting a brand new cowboy hat made for him right here in Colorado he kicked off the party with "Back in my Drinking Days” a song that was just the beginning of showcasing his mad harmonica skills. He warned us that we were about to see a skinny white dude play the harmonica like we've never seen before and damn was he right. Chris playing harmonica is so worth the ticket. He is that good! His tall, lanky frame is always moving. As he prowled the length of the stage back and forth you could feel the exhilaration of the crowd enjoying every minute of his undeniable swagger and his unbridled emotion.
His setlist had finger-snapping melodies which
kept the vibe going all night. We were treated to "Back In My Drinkin' Days", "Redneck Revival", "Save a Little Sugar","White Trash", his latest release, "Holdin' Her" "Messin' With Jesus" "Truck Yeah" and of course the crowd favorite and Janson's break out song "But Me A Boat" just to name a few.
Chris has a great voice, a setlist of fun songs, and the skill to put them all together to make a fantastic night. He's a very high energy, warm hearted performer who genuinely appreciates his fans. I don't know who had more fun, Chris Janson or his fans. What I do know is a Chris Janson show is a MUST-SEE!
