Jason Aldean is an electrifying and a talented performer who has the ability to consistently deliver a wild set from start to finish no matter the venue. His high-octane Night Train show is a sure-fire hit! Bringing his fiesty brand of country to a sold-out, record-breaking Cheyenne Frontier Days was
quite the party... Definitely was my kinda party! As Jason so famously sings "You got your country boys and your redneck girls. It's the party heard round the world.." And what a party it was. Nothing short of a total adrenaline rush that sweeps you away.
As Aldean hit the stage with a roar, the vigor of “Crazy Town” had the crowd joined in a collective choral swoon. “Take A Little Ride” cascaded into uproarious cheers and iPhone snapshots. By the third song, "Tatoos On This Town" I settled into a groove with the hundreds around me and thousands behind me.
Jason is energetic & exciting to watch as he works the entire stage. He interacts with fans giving high-five's & handshake's to the lucky fans up front. His rich solid vocals that you hear on the radio radiated as he performed his hit infused setlist. I have to say he rocked the night the moment he set foot on stage giving fans a solid performance, and setting the tone for all of us as we jumped on board the Night Train for the evenings ride. The crowd is completely engaged as he moves about the stage with ease. He is confident and compelling and you can barely take your eyes off him.
OH WHAT A SHOW!
It was all there in the setlist: Crazy town, Take A Little Ride, Tatoos On This Town, When She Says Baby, The Truth, Flyover States, This nothin' Town, Johnny Cash, Amarillo Sky, Night Train, 1994, Don't You Wanna Stay, Big Green Tractor, The Only Way I Know, Dirt Road Anthem, She's Country, My kinda Party and Hicktown.
I gotta give huge kudo's to Jason's band members. Kurt Allison, Tully Kennedy, Rich Redmond, & Mike Frey are world class musicians who delivered a great show. Rich Redmond's drumming is spot-on, powerful yet finessed and very entertaining to watch! He is the furious beat behind the music.
Simply put, Jason Aldean and crew delivered terrific performances of a hit-packed setlist in a successful attempt to give ticket buyers their money's worth. Very impressive stuff all around, so one last shout out to everyone for bringing their best and showing us such a good time.
Jason continues to establish himself as one of the most exciting and important performers on the country scene. The top nearly blew off the Grandstands as the crowd sang 1994. No matter the song selection on this night it seemed Jason Aldean could do no wrong. He's got that country twang that you can't help but love and a rock-star swagger that drives us ladies crazy. He is an accomplish musician, an unbelievable singer and has the right chemistry to reach out to an audience in the tens of thousands! He knows how to mix with the crowd and still be amazing at performing. This makes for one helluva show, it's more interactive and enjoyable. Aldean is talented, sexy, market savvy and I can't wait for album #6 and next years tour!
So for the 25,000 fans at Cheyenne Frontier Days it certainly was an "OH WHAT A SHOW" performance.
Favorite Moment: His first appearance to the stage...Oh be still my heart! Favorite Performance: All Of It!
