Korn came out and kicked the crowd's ass from start to finish!
They had everyone at the Colorado Event Center riled up as soon as the lights went dim. Moments later when the band hit the stage the party started and never stopped. Their sound was perfect; Loud, Clear and Rich. It was high energy with a non-stop pace. Jonathan Davis has such a great voice and he has so much charisma.
One of my favorite part of the night was hearing "Hater" live for the first time, I absolutely love that song and my second favorite of the night was seeing
Brian "Head" Welch back with the band. He was amazing. They all were.
They were very wild and consistant. They know how to rock, that's for sure. The best part of a live concert is the vibe and energy that flows in the crowd and the energy at a Korn concert is off the charts!
The band's current lineup includes; Jonathan Davis (vocals, bagpipes), James "Munky" Shaffer (guitar), Brian "Head" Welch (guitar, backing vocals), and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu (bass) and Ray Luzier (drums).
The setlist included:
Molested Intro,
Falling Away from Me,
Twist,
Got the Life,
Hater,
Did My Time,
Spike in My Veins,
Shoots and Ladders,
(with "Somebody Someone" snippet afterwards),
Coming Undone,
Never Never,
Here to Stay,
Another Brick in the Wall
(Pink Floyd cover) and
Freak on a Leash.
They played well, they played loud, and they played only the best songs. Korn has an amazing stage presence and connection with the crowd. I can't imagine anyone leaving the show unhappy. All in all they were AWSOME!!
