Thirteen-year Country veterans, Rascal Flatts, started the night off with a bang. Coming out strong with "Life Is A Highway" set the tone for the evening. Singing on-pitch and handling the challenging harmonies and change-ups with ease, Gary, Joe-Don and Jay delivered an amazing show. The crowd was intensely into it the whole time, singing the words to every single song they played.
Pulling tunes from throughout their career with unrestrained energy, and smiling through almost every song, Rascal Flatts delivered! We were treated to hits like; Banjo, Here's To You, This Everyday Love, Every Day, Praying For Daylight, What Hurts the Most, These Days and a kick-ass Mayberry - complete with exceptional visuals & graphics to the song. The setlist continued with the hits; Why Wait, I'm Movin' On, I Won't Let Go, Take Me There, I Melt, Stand, Backwards, Me and My Gang, Bob That Head, Bless This Broken Road and Fast Cars and Freedom. The show ended on the night’s highest points with a back-to-back offering of “My Rush” and “Summer Nights.”
FYI: As per the RF website, Rascal Flatts has sold over 21 million albums, 25 million digital downloads and has 14 number 1 singles, making it easy to see why they are one of the hottest-selling acts on tour, selling over 7 million concert tickets, and counting. That's a lot of happy fans (including myself)!
The Live & Loud 2013 Tour was everything fans expected it to be. It made us smile and it made us feel good.
Rascal Flatts... yea they're "cool", they're "in", and they'll make you believe in good music. With the spoltlight on Jay playing the piano, I'm Movin' On was beautiful. The music was awesome, the vocals clear, and the lyrics brilliant. One of my favorite RF songs and one of my favorite moments of the night!
Rascal Flatts has a show worth seeing. It's just hit after hit. You will not be disappointed - except for maybe when the show comes to an end.
