If fist-pumping rock anthems and uplifting messages are your thing then Skillet is your GO-TO concert. This Christian rock band is on the road in support of their latest album "Unleashed". The band currently consists of husband John (lead vocals, bass) and wife Korey Cooper (rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals) along with Jen Ledger (drums, vocals) and Seth Morrison (lead guitar). From their opening song “Feel Invincible”, the band was extremely energized with an abundance of hair-whipping, headbanging and intense screaming - It was that formula that fueled the party.
Skillet's lead vocalist John Cooper has a commanding presence on stage proving that a powerhouse of pile-driving, metal vocals and charisma can drive a crowd into a frenzy. He was not only powerful but mesmerizing as well. This band is so visual and a real pleasure to watch. Guitarist Seth Morrison and bassist Korey Cooper raced around the stage as they played, getting the crowd all caught up in their energy. All together, Skillet puts passion, heat and emotion behind their music. They were loud, boisterous, fun and put smiles on everyone's face. The party was all in the setlist!
