Review - Thompson Square
Cheyenne Frontier Days
By: Mell Rose
What started out as a cool July evening in Wyoming turned into a wild wet night for husband and wife duo Shawna and Kiefer Thompson of Thompson Square. When calm went to crazy watching the show was to witness a performance unlike anything I've ever seen. It was as if they said *F@@k the weather* let's play! Once that commitment was made there was no turning back. The super duo turned 'crazy' into crazy cool and for close to an hour and a half we were treated to a high energy, kick-ass show - and they were the opening act! From the beginning to the end, wet or dry, Thompson Square was fun and full of energy. They managed to get the crowd totally involved with them and it became an all out party!
Love - Marriage - Music = The Perfect Combination!
Their emotions seemed real which in turn brought tremendous passion and ferocious fun to the set.
Their setlist included; Here's to Being Here, That's So Me And You, Getaway Car, Glass, Just Feels Good, If I Didn't Have You, Testing The Water, Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not, I Got You and more.
Shawna and Keifer are mesmerizers who makes every moment count! They put passion, heat and emotion behind their music giving the fans a great time. Currently they are on tour in support of Luke Bryan's Dirt Road Diaries. Their job each night is to entertain and get the crowd ready for Luke. That night at Cheyenne Frontier Days as they played in the rain, they did that and then some! These guys are talented and fun to watch, a duo worth seeing. Remember their name...
