Well if you ask me where I come from/
Here's what I tell everyone/
I was born by God's dear grace/
In an extraordinary place/
Where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly.
It's a big 'ol land with countless dreams/
Happiness ain't out of reach/
Hard work pays off the way it should/
Yeah, I've seen enough to know that we've got it good/
Where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly.
This was my first country music concert experience and I must say Aaron Tippin Rocked! I don't think I could of chosen a better show to see. The energy, the voice, the talent were all so amazing. The rapport with the audience was intense. The crowd loved him and quite honestly so did I.
Aaron is a singer/songwriter, producer and all around patriot as a lot of his lyrics suggest!
There's a lady that stands in a harbor/
For what we believe/
And there's a bell that still echoes/
The price that it cost to be free.
I pledge allegiance to this flag/
And if that bothers you, well that's too bad/
But if you got pride and you're proud you do/
Hey, we could use some more like me and you/
Where the stars and stripes and the eagle fly.
Aaron boasts that he can still build a bicycle in under three minutes while still doing a song. (Which he did). Afterwards, the bike was given to a local radio station for Toys For Tots to be personally delivered to a child for Christmas.
That was my favorite moment of the entire show! It was way cool.
Aaron's set list included Movin' On, Stand, Honest, Big Boy Toys, 6 Days on the Road, Roll On, Radio, Stars & Stripes and my favorite of the night... Kiss This. I just loved that honky tonk style. I would venture to say it was definitely a crowd pleaser!
If your looking for a good time I would say Aaron Tippin is a must add to your summer concert list!
